Thank you!
Thank you to Carl and Julie for making Prosphora.
Thank you to Svetlana and Rex for garden and weed care.
Thank you to Rusty, John, Arlo, Stephanie S, Logan, Kam, Jonathan, Nikita, Ethan, and Patrick for chanting.
Thank you to Dan, Kam, Wiley and Arlo for serving in the altar.

Special Holy Week thanks.. THANK YOU TO:
- Fr Basil for a wonderful Holy Week. We were so blessed that you were here with us.
- To all the chanters - all of you did such a wonderful job. Several of you hadn’t chanted before 2 weeks ago and you all quickly caught on with grace. We call Holy Week “Chanter’s Boot Camp” for a reason! Extra thanks to Rusty, who led the chant stand at every service. When he wasn’t chanting at church, he was at home practicing hymns and preparing for the next service. A lot of the work he does goes unseen. Thank a chanter next time you see them!
- To Dan, Kam, Arlo, and Wiley for serving in the altar
- Julie and Natasha for the fish lunch on Palm Sunday
- Natasha and Diana for decorating the Bridegroom icon
- Rania for the delivery of carnations and roses
- Diana for getting a live bird out of the community hall
- Julie, Diana, Scarlett, Stephanie J, and Natasha for decorating the kouvouklion
- Patrick F, Kam, Noah, Caleb, Warren, and Michael for carrying the kouvouklion in the procession
- Natasha for making the rose water
- to our lovely myrrh bearing girls (EH, SW, and HB)
- to Natasha, Sarah, and Scarlett for putting together the Pascha breakfast
- to Carl, Rex, Rez, and Julie for cooking the Agape lamb meal
- to Stephanie J, Diana, and Natasha for decorating the Resurrection icon
- Scarlett for dying eggs
- to Sydney, Logan, Jonathan, Rusty, Svetlana, and Mike for reading the Gospel in many languages
- Thank you to all the mothers and fathers who brought their children to Holy Week services. Your children are the future of our parish - they will know the prayers, hymns, and traditions inside and out thanks to your hard work.
“If you don’t hear cryin’, the CHURCH IS DYIN’!”

- For all of the helping hands that pitched in to run errands, deliver flowers, take Fr Basil out for meals, prepare food, move things around, emptying the trash, setting up the candles, decorating the icons and kouvouklion.. thank you. Your effort and willingness to help is so appreciated. It takes many moving parts to make a successful Holy Week and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Reader Services
Our Reader services are done when we do not have a priest. It begins with Orthros at 9am, followed by Typika generally around 10am. Afterwards we have Bible Study and discussion in the community hall. This is a great time for any questions that anyone may have. We invite everyone to attend!

Prayer for Catechumens
O Lord our God, who dwells in the heavens, and looks down upon all thy works, look down upon thy servants, the catechumens, who have bowed their necks before thee, and grant them a light yoke. Make them honorable members of thy holy Church and vouchsafe unto them the laver of regeneration, the forgiveness of sins and the robe of incorruption, unto the knowledge of thee, our true God.

Orthodox Prayer for the Priesthood
O Lord Jesus Christ, enkindle the hearts of all Thy priests with the fire of zealous love for Thee, that they may labor unceasingly in Thine earthly vineyard for the salvation of our souls and the glory of Thine All-Honorable and Majestic Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
